A.  Speaker placement

Left and right speaker distance apart

  • ONEmicro (pointing upward), not sensitivity on distance apart and listener distance
  • ONEmicro (pointing horizontal), 0.6-1.2m apart, 1.0-2.0m to the listener, don’t care toe in angle
  • ONEmini, 1.0-2.0m apart, 1.0-2.0m to the listener, no need toe-in
  • ONEmedi, 1.2-2.0m apart, 1.5-2.5m to the listener, no need toe-in
  • ONEclassic, 1.8-2.5m apart, 2-3m to the listener, toe-in angle 0-15 degree

Front speaker distance from wall

  • ONEmicro, free to place
  • ONEmini and QBass, front air reflector, not sensitive
  • ONEmedi and ONEclassic, rear air reflector, away from wall will have better sound, suggest to put 0.3m away from rear wall

Speaker height

  • Front speaker, try to put same level as listener ear with respect to tweeter position
  • Centre speaker, on the ear level or lower than ear level
  • Rear speaker, 1.2-1.5m height, pointing downward if possible
  • Top speaker in 5.1.2 or 5.1.4, top speaker must be upward firing ONEmicro+, try to put them at high position. If you don’t have suitable place, you can put TR speaker on the top of rear speaker and TF speaker on the top of main speaker.

Placement surface

  • ONEmicro, put on wooden surface can induce more bass to thicken vocal sound
  • ONEmini and ONEmedi, if your table top is soft or hallow inside, suggest to use aluminium speaker plate
  • ONEclassic, suggest put on marble board or speaker stand to get clear sound, put on wooden or acrylic board (not less than 15mm) to have warm sound

** Don’t put speaker on hollow cabinet, otherwise, the hallow cabinet will induce secondary vibration result blur mid-bass.

ONEwoofer placement

  • Place on floor will get more bass
  • Soft surface, like carpet, will absorb bass. Use a marble or 15mm wooden board as a base plate
  • Not recommand to place subwoofer at corner, bass will go boomy
  • Woofer driver facing outward will get faster and punchy bass, woofer driver face to side wil get immersive bass
